What are Swatches?
A sample strip cut from a piece of material.
I am siting in my material lab,and my faculty is sitting on my head.
After much surfing on Pinterest..this beautiful print comes by and swipes me into the magical and colorful world of Carousel.
So i started putting different colors of inks on ohp sheet and got something like the one shown in the picture Above.

                                What Is a material board?

                 A board which contains all the different kinds of materials that gives a feeling related to it or have been used in a making a particular project.

Firstly i didnt have any clue as to what should i add to ky material board..but as i started doing it i was struggling to put all the material i could think of in this world related to Carousel..So as you see..

I have used various materials which either show the essence of my topic which is colors and the motion of the merry go round,or the feeling which comes when we think of a Carousel.

WHAT IS A CONCEPT BOARD?

Designers use concept boards to convey the overall feel of a project, putting together images and objects which inspire, target desires and depict creativity and innovation.

To me Carousel can be related to LIFE,as life is also a colorful journey with different shades and moods,with all the ups and downs..it keeps moving on but still is a beautiful journey.

A  mind map is a brain storming of words,related to the topic,which come to ones mind when you first think of it.

Introduction..

 We surely all enjoy the Amusement parks and fairs,among all the rides,The carousel,is the one in which you probably have been sitting and riding since you were like one.

Also known as the merry-go-round,the Galloper ,round-about,Horse-about,or flying horses,consisting of a rotating platform with hanging seats for riders.the seats can be in the form of animals,which move up and down.It can include mounts like Tigers,mythological creatures,cars and airplanes.

WHY I CHOSE IT??

So,one day at my internship,we were having a discussion for the theme of s/s'16 collection,in which one of them was carousel.Me,being a person who loves to challenge herself,took this topic.. as colors are not really my thing,but i wanted to experiment and push myself.
